Turning back the clock of the cell.

Linn Biosciences is a One-Loop Lab: AI virtual cells propose interventions that could move aged cells toward a younger state; outsourced CRO labs test them; results feed back and the model learns. One person runs the loop—with AI agents doing much of the research and coordination. Our target is biological age. Skin is the first window where evidence can become visible. We are early-stage: no products, no results to announce yet.

林恩生物（Linn Biosciences）是一家「一人闭环实验室」（One-Loop Lab）：AI 虚拟细胞先提出可能让老化细胞回到更年轻状态的方案；外包 CRO 实验室做验证；结果回流，模型更新。一个人统筹这条闭环——大量研究与协调工作由 AI 智能体完成，湿实验外包完成。我们要改变的是细胞的生物学年龄；皮肤只是第一个看得见证据的窗口。公司仍处早期：不销售产品，也还没有结果可以宣布。

关注研究进展

You have two ages.

One is on your ID. The other is carried by your cells. Scientists can estimate the second from chemical marks on DNA called methylation—often called methylation age (Horvath, 2013). It correlates with calendar age, but they are not always the same. We ask whether the cellular clock can be turned back. That question is our research goal, not a claim of results.

你有两个年龄。

How the One-Loop Lab works

Four steps, run by one person with AI agents and external labs:

1. Compute Virtual cells and AI agents propose candidate interventions.
2. Test (CRO) Outsourced CRO labs run the wet experiments.
3. Feed back Results return to us.
4. Update The model and the next round of plans improve.

This is a research operating model, not a product. We do not claim that the loop has already succeeded.

一人闭环实验室怎么运转

四步，由一个人统筹，AI 智能体与外包实验室共同完成：

1. 计算预筛 虚拟细胞与 AI 智能体提出候选干预。
2. CRO 验证 外包实验室完成湿实验。
3. 数据回流 结果回到我们这边。
4. 模型更新 模型与下一轮计划随之改进。

这是研究运营方式，不是产品。我们不宣称这条闭环已经跑通或已经成功。

Skin is the window. Age is the target.

Human dermal fibroblasts are relatively accessible, and readouts can appear on a useful timescale. We start here because skin cells are a practical place to look for evidence—not because we make skincare. We do not sell cosmetics or beauty products. Behind the window is what we care about: biological age itself.

皮肤是窗口，年龄才是目标。

人皮肤成纤维细胞相对容易获取，读数周期也比较短。我们从这里开始，是因为皮肤细胞是检验想法的实用窗口——不是因为要做护肤品。我们不销售化妆品或美容产品。窗户后面，才是我们真正关心的东西：生物学年龄本身。

Identity first

A candidate that makes a cell lose its identity, or start growing without control, is filtered out. Keeping cell identity is a screening rule we design for—not a guarantee we have already proven in our own data. We are still at the planning and early-build stage.

身份优先

任何让细胞丢掉原本身份、或开始失控增殖的候选，直接淘汰。保持细胞身份是我们设计的筛选规则——不是我们已经用自有数据证明的保证。公司仍在计划与早期建设阶段。

What we plan to share

Roadmap (all planned, not completed):

RejuvBench — a planned open benchmark from Linn that will use only public data to test how accurately computational models predict the effect of genetic and drug perturbations on the transcriptomic age of human skin fibroblasts from donors and ages the models have not seen. Details may change as the work develops.
Open data, papers, and code — when we have results, we plan to share them so others can scrutinize the work.

We publish plans, not promises. Nothing here is a medical claim.

RejuvBench — Linn 计划推出的开放评测基准，只用公开数据，检验计算模型能否准确预测基因和药物扰动对人皮肤成纤维细胞转录组年龄的影响，测试用的供体和年龄都是模型没见过的。细节可能随工作推进而调整。
开放数据、论文与代码 — 有了结果之后，我们计划公开，便于他人检验。

我们公开的是计划，不是承诺。这里没有任何医疗宣称。

One person. A network behind the loop.

“One-person company” here means one person accountable for the loop—not one person alone at the lab bench. AI agents draft literature reviews, experiment plans, and much of the coordination. Advisors (planned) contribute part-time expertise. CRO labs run the wet work. Before anything goes out to a CRO, a human reviews it. We intend to be honest about mistakes we catch, when we have an operating log worth sharing.

这里的「一人公司」是指：一个人对闭环负责——不是一个人独自站在实验台前。AI 智能体承担大量文献、实验计划与协调草稿；顾问（计划中）提供兼职专业意见；湿实验由 CRO 完成。任何发给 CRO 的内容，发出前都要经过人工复核。等我们有值得公开的运营日志时，也打算如实写出抓到的错误。
